Daily Instructional Work
The TGT Kannada Teacher plans and delivers engaging lessons in Kannada language and literature to classes in the secondary section, using diverse teaching aids and classroom technologies. The role involves facilitating interactive discussions, guiding students through grammar, prose, and poetry, and fostering a love for the Kannada language.
Scope of the Role
This position covers all grade levels from 6th to 10th, ensuring curriculum alignment with Karnataka State Board standards. The teacher collaborates with senior staff to integrate Kannada across interdisciplinary projects and participates in school-wide initiatives such as cultural festivals and language clubs.
Core Academic Duties
Prepare lesson plans that incorporate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Conduct classroom instruction, monitor student progress, and provide timely feedback. Manage classroom resources, maintain lesson records, and support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
Assessment and Planning Duties
Design formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, projects, and examinations, to evaluate student proficiency in Kannada. Analyze assessment data to identify learning gaps and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Participate in curriculum review meetings to refine content and assessment methods.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Kannada or related field. Minimum four years of teaching experience at the secondary level. B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. required; TET or CTET certification preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to use modern teaching tools and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Salary and Location
Full‑time employment at Soundarya Central School | Karnataka in Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka. Competitive remuneration ranging from Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
