Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans that cater to varying student abilities, including those with learning challenges. Collaborate with the mathematics department to refine teaching strategies and share best practices. Participate in school-wide academic events, such as math competitions or workshops, to boost student engagement. Attend regular faculty meetings to discuss curriculum updates and pedagogical trends.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct periodic assessments and evaluations to track student performance in mathematics. Organize parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding student attendance, discipline, and academic integrity.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Mathematics. Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Experience in using digital tools and resources for mathematics education is a plus. Familiarity with Karnataka’s mathematics curriculum and state-specific teaching methodologies is essential.
Salary and Location
