Soundarya Central School in Bengaluru Urban seeks a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to inspire and guide students through engaging lessons in history, geography, civics, and economics. This role requires a passionate educator with four years of experience to shape young minds in a vibrant academic environment. The salary for this position is Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month.
Daily Responsibilities
Teaching Social Science subjects across Class 6 to 12 with a focus on interactive and experiential learning. Preparing lesson plans aligned with Karnataka’s curriculum while adapting teaching methods to engage diverse student interests. Conducting class discussions, group activities, and field trips to bring historical and geographical concepts to life.
Recurring Tasks
Assessing student progress through regular homework, quizzes, and project-based evaluations. Maintaining detailed records of student performance and attendance. Collaborating with the principal and other teachers to address academic challenges and support student development. Participating in school events, cultural programs, and extracurricular activities to foster a holistic learning experience.
Periodic Responsibilities
Planning and executing unit-based assessments to reinforce learning outcomes. Attending departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum updates. Preparing reports for parents and coordinating with external organizations for guest lectures or workshops. Ensuring compliance with school policies and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.
