Role
Sri Chaitanya Techno School | Magadi Road is looking for a full‑time TGT Social Science Teacher in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka. The position is for a post‑graduate candidate with at least two years of classroom experience teaching Social Science to classes IX‑XII.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum, using a mix of lectures, discussions, projects and field activities. Assess student progress through tests, assignments and periodic evaluations, and maintain accurate records. Participate in school meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and co‑curricular events, contributing to the overall development of the learners.
Requirements
Post‑graduate degree in Social Science or a related discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary level. CTET/TET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in English and Kannada, and proficiency in using digital teaching tools. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and inquiry‑based classroom environment.
Compensation
The monthly salary range is Rs.22,000 – Rs.35,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Other standard school benefits apply as per institutional policy.
