Bright Horizon International School in Belathangadi, Dakshina Kannada is looking for a full‑time PGT History Teacher. The role involves delivering engaging history lessons, fostering analytical thinking and guiding students through the rich tapestry of Indian and world heritage.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver comprehensive history lessons that stimulate curiosity and critical inquiry among students. Prepare class materials, visual aids and assignments that align with the school’s academic standards. Assess student performance through tests, projects and presentations, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Organise and supervise history‑related extracurricular activities, field trips and exhibitions to enhance experiential learning. Collaborate with fellow faculty to integrate interdisciplinary perspectives and maintain a disciplined, supportive classroom environment.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in History or related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Candidates should possess a valid TET/CTET certification, which will be considered an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting, demonstrating effective classroom management and student engagement in history.
Salary
Rs.37,000 – Rs.65,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
