- Developing and using a range of assessment strategies to monitor student progress
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English language policies
- Providing individualized support to students who require extra help
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Contributing to the development of school-based English language programs
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- A Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Kannada or other local languages
Preferred Skills
- Experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English Language Learning (ELL)
- Knowledge of inclusive pedagogy and differentiated instruction
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support student learning
Salary and Benefits
As an NTT English Teacher at Varin International Residential School Karnataka, you will be eligible for a salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, providing a competitive remuneration package that reflects your skills and experience.
