About This Role
As the Physical Education Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Physical Education Department, including staff management, program development, and facility maintenance. You will lead a team of physical education professionals and support staff to ensure that our students receive high-quality physical education instruction and guidance.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement physical education programs that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students
- Lead a team of physical education professionals and support staff to ensure effective program delivery
- Manage and maintain physical education facilities, including equipment and supplies
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for physical education programs
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment with school goals and objectives
- Supervise and evaluate physical education staff to ensure high-quality instruction and guidance
- Develop and implement outreach programs to engage with local communities and promote physical activity
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement programs that promote physical education and well-being among students
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and school policies
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree in Physical Education or related field
- 3+ years of experience in physical education administration and leadership
- Strong knowledge of physical education principles and practices
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective physical education programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
