Role Summary
Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute Of Technology & Management invites applications for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in the department of Data Structures at our Udupi campus. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching data structures at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach data structures to undergraduate students in B.Tech courses.
- Conduct lectures, discussions, and practical sessions on data structures for postgraduate students in M.Tech courses.
- Prepare and deliver course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and study guides.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback on their assignments and projects.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and thesis work.
- Participate in curriculum development and implementation at the department and university levels.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and deliver interdisciplinary courses.
- Maintain a high level of expertise in the subject area through ongoing research and professional development.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach data structures and related courses at the master's level, including M.Tech and M.E. courses.
- Guide students in their research projects and thesis work, helping them to develop their skills in data structures and related areas.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new master's level courses and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks.
- UGC-NET or UGC-SLET qualification.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences in the area of data structures.
- Experience in teaching at the university level, with a minimum of four years of experience.
