Organize workshops on emerging technologies like blockchain and edge computing. Mentor student teams for national-level competitions such as Smart India Hackathon. Collaborate with industry partners for curriculum enrichment and live projects. Contribute to departmental administrative tasks including timetable coordination and examination duties.
Master Level Teaching
Handle master-level courses such as Advanced Distributed Systems, Fault-Tolerant Computing, and Grid & Cluster Computing at M.Tech level. Guide M.Tech students in dissertation work and research publication. Organize seminars and guest lectures by industry experts. Develop problem-based learning modules for complex distributed systems concepts. Encourage interdisciplinary projects linking AI with distributed computing.
Eligibility Criteria
PhD in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. Must have qualified UGC-NET/CSIR-NET or equivalent national-level eligibility test. Minimum five years of teaching experience at the Assistant Professor level or equivalent. At least three publications in peer-reviewed journals with impact factor. Familiarity with tools like Hadoop, Kubernetes, and Docker is desirable. Knowledge of Kannada or local language will be an added advantage.
