Role Summary
Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute Of Technology & Management invites applications for the ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Vacancy in Karnataka in the Electrical Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical Machines, as well as guiding research projects and supervising students.
What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical Machines, including theory and practical sessions.
- Develop and deliver new courses in Electrical Machines, including syllabus design and curriculum development.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations in Electrical Machines laboratory.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and provide research guidance.
- Prepare case studies and project reports in Electrical Machines.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop academic programs in Electrical Machines.
- Participate in academic and administrative committees related to Electrical Machines department.
Postgraduate Students
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects, including thesis supervision and project guidance.
- Develop and conduct seminars and workshops on Electrical Machines research topics.
- Collaborate with industry partners to provide research opportunities for postgraduate students in Electrical Machines.
- Publish research papers with postgraduate students in peer-reviewed journals on Electrical Machines topics.
Eligibility Criteria
- PhD in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualified or equivalent as per UGC norms.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals on Electrical Machines topics.
- At least 4 years of experience in teaching and research in Electrical Machines.
