The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding research projects, and contributing to the academic growth of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
The ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR will be responsible for:
- Teaching Information Security courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Developing and updating course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assignments.
- Conducting tutorials, lab sessions, and seminars to enhance student learning.
- Assessing student performance and providing feedback.
- Designing and implementing assessment tools to evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Participating in departmental and institutional committees to promote academic excellence.
- Engaging in research and publication activities in the field of Information Security.
Postgraduate Students
The ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR will be responsible for guiding master level courses and research projects in Information Security. The candidate will be expected to:
- Guide students in their research projects, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Evaluate student research proposals and progress reports.
- Supervise students in their research and development of research papers.
- Facilitate student participation in national and international conferences.
Who Can Apply
Eligible candidates must possess a PhD in Information Security or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks. In addition, candidates must have qualified in NET/SLET or have publications in peer-reviewed journals. The candidate should have a strong teaching and research background, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in academia.

The institution follows UGC norms for promotion and career advancement. The ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR will be eligible for promotion to the position of PROFESSOR based on their API score, which is calculated based on their teaching, research, and institutional service contributions.
Salary and Benefits
