What You Will Do
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, you will be responsible for the following:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mobile Computing, including core and elective courses.
- Conduct research in the area of Mobile Computing and publish papers in reputable international journals.
- Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research work.
- Collaborate with faculty members from other departments to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
- Develop and maintain a strong research program in Mobile Computing.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the department.
- Develop a strong network with industry partners and collaborate on research projects.
Who Can Apply
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field. A post-doctoral experience will be preferred. The candidate should have a strong research background and publications in international journals. UGC-NET with JRF will be an added advantage. The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience.
Academic Projects
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, you will be expected to develop and lead collaborative research projects with industry partners. The department has a strong funding support from various government agencies and industry partners. The selected candidate will be eligible to apply for research grants and collaborate with faculty members from other departments to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
Research Leadership
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, you will be expected to guide doctoral students and evaluate their theses. You will also be responsible for developing a strong research program in Mobile Computing and mentoring junior faculty members.
Perks and Pay
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.50,000 - Rs.65,000 per month, as per UGC norms. The department also offers research grants to support the research initiatives. The candidate will be eligible to apply for housing benefits and other perks as per the institution's policies.
