Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Power Electronics, including circuit analysis, converter design, and power electronics applications.
- Conduct original research in Power Electronics, publish papers in top-tier journals, and present research at international conferences.
- Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research projects.
- Collaborate with faculty members from other departments to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
- Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on securing external funding and collaborating with industry partners.
- Participate in departmental and university-level committees to contribute to curriculum development and academic policy-making.
- Mentor junior faculty members and provide guidance on research and teaching.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Power Electronics and integrate them into the curriculum.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics. A post-doctoral research experience is preferred. Candidates with a UGC-NET (JRF) or SLET qualification will be given preference.
