Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Web Technologies, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Teaching Web Technologies courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conducting research in Web Technologies, publishing research papers in international journals, and presenting at conferences
- Supervising Ph.D. students in Web Technologies
- Collaborating with faculty members from other departments on interdisciplinary research projects
- Participating in departmental and institutional administrative duties
- Engaging in curriculum development and academic program planning
- Mentoring and guiding junior faculty members and research scholars
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Web Technologies and incorporating them into the curriculum
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Web Technologies. A post-doctoral research experience is preferred. You should also have a strong track record of research publications in international journals and conferences. UGC-NET with JRF is mandatory for this position. The candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in teaching and research.
Academic Projects
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Web Technologies, you will be expected to lead collaborative research projects, secure research grants, and publish papers in leading international journals. You will also be expected to guide doctoral students and evaluate their theses.
Research Leadership
As a research leader, you will guide doctoral students in their research projects, evaluate their theses, and provide feedback for improvement. You will also participate in departmental and institutional research committees to promote interdisciplinary research collaborations.
What You Get
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Web Technologies in Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute Of Technology & Management, you will receive a salary of Rs.50,000 - Rs.65,000 per month, as per UGC norms. You will also be eligible for research grants and other benefits as per University regulations.
