Job Description
PGT Business Studies Teacher Responsibilities
Teach Business Studies to students in Class 11 and 12, following the Karnataka State syllabus and curriculum guidelines. Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s academic objectives, ensuring students grasp core concepts like entrepreneurship, financial management, and business ethics.
Develop and assess practical assignments, case studies, and projects to reinforce classroom learning. Use interactive teaching methods to encourage critical thinking and real-world application of business principles.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance as required by Rajeshwari National School’s reporting system.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Business Studies or a related commerce discipline. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for the PGT position at Rajeshwari National School.
Two years of teaching experience in Business Studies at the senior secondary level is preferred. Familiarity with Karnataka’s educational standards and curriculum is advantageous.
Salary for this role is Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, subject to school policies and performance-based adjustments.
This is a full-time, permanent position located in Karkala, Udupi, Karnataka.
