PGT English Teacher – Rajeshwari National School, Karkala, Udupi, Karnataka
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for PGT classes, following the school curriculum and state guidelines. Assess student performance through tests, projects and oral activities, providing constructive feedback. Coordinate with senior faculty for interdisciplinary projects and participate in co‑curricular events such as debates and essay competitions.
Requirements
Post‑graduate degree in English or related field with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, though it is not mandatory. Strong communication skills and ability to foster a love for literature among students.
Salary
Rs.40,000 – Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
