Day-to-Day Duties
As a PROFESSOR in Cloud Computing, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cloud Computing, including lecture preparation, delivery, and assessment.
Conducting research in Cloud Computing, publishing papers in top-tier journals, and presenting papers at international conferences.
Supervising Ph.D. students in Cloud Computing, guiding them towards successful completion of their research projects.
Mentoring junior faculty members in research and academic activities.
Developing and implementing innovative pedagogical methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
Participating in departmental and institutional committees to contribute to academic and research policy-making.
Engaging in collaborative research projects with industry partners and other academic institutions.
Staying updated with the latest advancements in Cloud Computing, incorporating them into teaching and research activities.
Providing administrative support to the department, including academic program review and curriculum development.
Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field with a strong background in Cloud Computing. A postdoctoral research experience in Cloud Computing is highly desirable. The candidate should have a UGC-NET with JRF qualification or equivalent. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching and research experience in a university or college.
Academic Projects
As a PROFESSOR in Cloud Computing, the successful candidate will be expected to:
Develop and lead academic projects in Cloud Computing, securing funding from government agencies, industry partners, or the University.
Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary research projects in Cloud Computing.
Publish papers in top-tier journals and present papers at international conferences in Cloud Computing.
Develop and lead a research group in Cloud Computing, with a focus on innovative research and technology development.
Research Leadership
As a PROFESSOR in Cloud Computing, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Guiding Ph.D. students in Cloud Computing research projects, providing them with research guidance, and evaluation.
Evaluating Ph.D. theses and dissertations in Cloud Computing, providing constructive feedback to students.
Developing and leading research initiatives in Cloud Computing, with a focus on innovative research and technology development.
