Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute Of Technology & Management invites applications for the position of PROFESSOR - Distributed Systems in the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic administration.

Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Distributed Systems, including design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and research projects.
- Participate in academic administration, including curriculum development, exam committees, and departmental meetings.
- Supervise student research projects and dissertations.
- Collaborate with industry partners and academia on research projects and consultancy services.
- Publish research papers in reputable journals and conferences.
- Develop and maintain online course materials and resources.
- Attend faculty meetings and contribute to departmental decisions.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. from a recognized university in Computer Science or a related field. Industry experience in Distributed Systems is preferred. The candidate should have a strong track record of research and teaching, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in academia or industry.
