Day-to-Day Duties
As a PROFESSOR of High Voltage Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in High Voltage Engineering, including theory and practical sessions
* Conducting research in High Voltage Engineering, with a focus on areas such as power systems, insulation, and condition monitoring
* Publishing research papers in leading international journals and conferences
* Supervising Ph.D. students in High Voltage Engineering
* Evaluating Ph.D. theses and guiding students towards completion
* Participating in departmental and university-level committees
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop new courses and programs
* Engaging with industry partners to develop research collaborations and projects
* Maintaining a strong record of research publications and securing research grants
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have a Ph.D. in High Voltage Engineering or a related field. A post-doctoral experience is preferred, but not mandatory. The candidate must also have a UGC-NET qualification with JRF. We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
