Day-to-Day Duties
As a PROFESSOR - Power Systems, you will be responsible for:
* Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Power Systems, including theory and experimentation
* Conducting research in Power Systems, including supervision of PhD students and publication of research papers
* Collaborating with industry and academic institutions on research projects
* Developing and maintaining laboratory and computational facilities for research and teaching
* Participating in departmental and institutional committees
* Mentoring junior faculty members and research scholars
* Contributing to the development of new courses and programs in Power Systems
Required Qualifications
We seek a highly qualified and experienced PROFESSOR with a PhD in Power Systems or a related field. A postdoctoral research experience is preferred, and UGC-NET with JRF is highly desirable. The candidate should have a strong publication record and a proven track record of research and academic excellence.
Research & Publications
We expect our PROFESSOR to be actively engaged in research and publication in top-tier journals and conferences. The candidate should have a strong research agenda and be able to secure research grants from government and industry funding agencies. Collaborative research projects with industry and academic institutions are encouraged, and we offer opportunities for funding and resource sharing.
Research Leadership
As a PROFESSOR, you will be expected to guide doctoral students and evaluate PhD theses. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining research collaborations with industry and academic institutions. Perks and Pay
The University offers a competitive salary of Rs.70,000 - Rs.95,000 per month, as per UGC norms.
