What You Will Do

Lead funded research projects in software reliability, DevOps practices, or AI-driven software testing with external partners. Publish findings in reputed journals and present at national conferences to strengthen the department’s academic reputation.
Guide doctoral students in their thesis work, from proposal defense to final submission. Review and evaluate Ph.D. theses submitted by scholars across Karnataka universities and serve on university-level committees for research oversight.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering from a recognized university. Post-doctoral research experience is preferred, especially in areas relevant to the department’s focus.
Candidates with UGC-NET qualified with JRF or equivalent SET/SLET scores are encouraged to apply if their Ph.D. is pending. Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute Of Technology & Management values teaching experience of at least five years in software engineering at the university level.

Ph.D. Supervision
