Role Introduction
Rajeshwari National School in Karkala, Udupi, Karnataka is looking for a full‑time TGT Hindi Teacher. The candidate will be responsible for delivering the Hindi curriculum to secondary students and fostering a love for the language.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Hindi lessons for classes IX and X in accordance with the state syllabus.
- Prepare teaching aids, visual materials and multimedia resources to enhance comprehension.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, projects and periodic examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and class activities as per school policies.
- Conduct remedial classes and extra‑coaching for students needing additional support.
- Organize Hindi language competitions, debates and cultural events to promote linguistic skills.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and senior staff to integrate cross‑curricular activities.
- Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, reporting progress and addressing concerns.
- Keep abreast of updates in the Hindi curriculum and incorporate best teaching practices.
- Uphold the school’s code of conduct, discipline standards and safety guidelines.
Qualification, Experience, Salary, Location
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Hindi along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed, and has at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Preference is given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET. The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.22,000 to Rs.45,000. The posting is based in Karkala, Udupi, Karnataka.
