PGT Yoga Teacher Position at Tapassu Career Academy in Yadgir
The PGT Yoga Teacher at Tapassu Career Academy in Yadgir will design and deliver advanced yoga programs aligned with modern educational standards. This role focuses on integrating yoga as a core subject across different grade levels, ensuring students develop physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Plan and conduct structured yoga classes, including asanas, pranayama, and meditation techniques, tailored to students’ age groups. Develop lesson plans that incorporate scientific research on yoga benefits while maintaining academic alignment. Supervise student participation in group and individual yoga sessions, fostering discipline and mindfulness.
Collaborate with the school’s curriculum team to incorporate yoga into existing syllabi, ensuring compliance with Karnataka’s educational guidelines. Organize extracurricular yoga workshops and inter-school competitions to promote holistic learning. Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and participation in yoga activities.
Hold regular parent-teacher interactions to discuss yoga-related achievements and areas for improvement. Ensure all teaching materials, equipment, and safety protocols are in place for smooth class execution. Represent the school at local yoga-related events or conferences to expand the institution’s influence in the field.
For this position, a postgraduate degree in Yoga or related field is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least four years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior experience in yoga pedagogy will be highly beneficial.
