Key Responsibilities

Conduct practical laboratory sessions with strict adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Guide students in performing experiments accurately while maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.
Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the university syllabus and academic calendar. Utilize modern teaching aids and digital resources to enhance the quality of classroom instruction.
Assist in the evaluation of internal assessments, practical records, and end-semester examinations for chemistry courses. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their academic performance and conceptual clarity.
Provide guidance from senior faculty to help new teachers adapt to the college teaching environment and methodologies. Participate in regular faculty meetings to discuss curriculum updates and student progress reports effectively.
Organize chemistry workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to broaden students exposure to current scientific trends. Encourage student participation in national level chemistry Olympiads and research projects.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and laboratory inventory for the chemistry department. Ensure that all academic documentation is up to date and complies with institutional standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a Master degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. A valid NET or SET qualification is mandatory for this position as per UGC guidelines.
Freshers with a strong academic record and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience or internship in a college setting will be considered an added advantage.
