Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students of Grades 9 to 12
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their language skills
- Foster a love for reading and literature among students through book reviews and discussions
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement English language programs
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments, including English language proficiency tests
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and social responsibility
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and pedagogical best practices to ensure high-quality instruction
- Participate in school events and activities that promote English language and literature
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree in English or a related field
- Post-graduate degree in English literature or a related field (M.A., M.Sc., or M.Phil.)
- Prior teaching experience of at least 2 years in a school setting
- Preference given to candidates with TET/CTET certification
