About This Role
Chirayu University invites applications for the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, specifically in Cloud Computing. The selected candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guide research projects, and contribute to the development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Cloud Computing courses to undergraduate students, including lectures, tutorials, and practicals.
- Design and deliver Cloud Computing courses for postgraduate students, including seminars, workshops, and project guidance.
- Conduct research in Cloud Computing and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and provide feedback on their academic progress.
- Participate in departmental and university-level committees as required.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of industry partners and collaborators in Cloud Computing.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Cloud Computing and incorporate them into the curriculum.
Postgraduate Students
The selected candidate will be expected to guide research projects for postgraduate students in the areas of Cloud Computing, including project planning, execution, and evaluation. The candidate will also be responsible for providing feedback on the students' academic progress and research contributions.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for the position, candidates should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks, or a NET/SLET in Computer Science and Engineering. Prior research experience in Cloud Computing and publications in peer-reviewed journals are highly desirable.
Learning and Development
The selected candidate will be expected to meet the API score requirements for promotion and career advancement. The University follows the UGC regulations and state government rules for academic promotion.
What You Get
