About This Role
The Sanskriti School Bhopal is seeking a qualified and experienced LIBRARIAN to join our administrative team. This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
What You Will Do
1. Manage the school library, overseeing the cataloging, classification, and maintenance of books and other resources.
2. Plan and implement library programs, workshops, and events to promote reading and literacy.
3. Develop and maintain collections, including selection, acquisition, and disposal of materials.
4. Provide research assistance to students, teachers, and staff, offering guidance on information retrieval and critical thinking.
5. Supervise library staff, including librarians, assistants, and volunteers.
6. Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics on library usage, circulation, and collections.
7. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
8. Stay up-to-date with new technologies, trends, and best practices in library management.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess a graduate degree in Library Science or a related field. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is not required for this non-teaching role.
Preferred Skills
Experience with integrated library systems (ILS), knowledge of online databases, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are desired. The ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents is essential.

The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
