The Sanskriti School Bhopal is looking for a Music Teacher to oversee the music department and coordinate all musical activities across the campus in Huzur. This role involves planning, budgeting, staff supervision, and ensuring high standards in music education and events. What You Will Do
Oversee the daily operations of the music department, including instrument procurement, maintenance, and inventory tracking.
Manage a team of music staff, assign duties, conduct appraisals, and organize professional development sessions.
Prepare annual budgets for the music section and present proposals to the school leadership for approval.
Coordinate with other departments to integrate music into school events, assemblies, and cultural programs.
Ensure compliance with safety norms for music equipment storage and usage in classrooms and performance areas.
Liaise with external vendors for instrument repairs, sheet music supply, and recording equipment needs.
Monitor student participation in inter-house music competitions and recommend improvements in participation levels.
Organize annual music festivals and parent evenings, handling invitations, logistics, and public relations.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline with minimum three years of experience in school music administration or coordination.
Preference for candidates with prior experience in managing music staff or organizing school-level music events.
Familiarity with local cultural events in Bhopal and Huzur will be an added advantage.
