Role Summary
Shree Tulsi Convent School invites applications for the position of PGT Biology Teacher in Bhopal. As a PGT Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students of various classes, developing and implementing curriculum, and assessing student progress.
How You Will Teach
You will teach Biology through practical methods, using various tools, lab activities, and experiments to make learning engaging and interactive. You will also use visual aids, diagrams, and charts to illustrate complex concepts and make Biology more accessible to students. At Shree Tulsi Convent School, we focus on hands-on learning, and you will be expected to design and conduct experiments, and encourage students to ask questions and think critically.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lessons on Biology, adhering to the curriculum and school policies.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate complex concepts and make learning engaging.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Develop and implement new curriculum and teaching methods to improve student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in school events, such as Science Fairs, and encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities related to Biology.
- Develop and implement assessments and evaluations to measure student learning outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Biology, and incorporate new knowledge and skills into teaching practices.
- Supervise students during laboratory activities and ensure their safety.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you must have a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field, and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a B.Sc or M.Sc in Biology, and a TET or CTET certification.

- Strong knowledge of Biology and related subjects, including ecology, botany, and zoology.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to engage students and make learning enjoyable.
- Ability to design and conduct experiments, and use various tools and equipment to teach Biology.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and implement lessons and assessments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to school events and activities.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.32,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, along with other benefits as per school policies.
