Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver the full Economics syllabus for Classes XI and XII as per CBSE guidelines.
Prepare term-wise lesson plans, question banks, and revision schedules aligned with board patterns.
Conduct regular assessments and mock examinations to track student progress in Economics.
Analyze board result trends and implement corrective teaching strategies for weaker areas.
Mentor newly joined Economics teachers through classroom observations and feedback sessions.
Organize inter-house and inter-school Economics quiz competitions and seminars.
Coordinate with the academic coordinator for timetable adjustments and resource allocation.
Prepare students for national Olympiads and competitive exams in Economics.
Guide students on career options after Class XII such as CA, CS, CFA, and UPSC economics preparation.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Economics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Social Science or Economics from an NCTE recognized institution.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level in a reputed school.
CTET or state TET qualified candidates will receive preference during shortlisting.
Familiarity with NTA and CBSE examination patterns and recent syllabus changes is essential.
Learning and Development
Attend subject-specific workshops organized by CBSE and state education departments in Madhya Pradesh.
Participate in leadership training programs for potential Vice Principal roles within Delhi Public School.
