Job Overview

Teaching Approach

Our English language lab provides students with opportunities to develop their speaking, writing, and listening skills. The PGT English Teacher will use a variety of teaching methods, including discussions, debates, and group activities, to engage students and promote critical thinking.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement English language and literature curricula for classes XI-XII
- Conduct classes and provide individual guidance to students
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular tests and assignments
- Prepare and administer exams, including papers, viva-voce, and internal assessments
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of English language programs
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate English language skills across the curriculum
- Provide support to students with special needs and learning difficulties
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Prepare and submit reports on student progress to parents and school administration
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you should have a postgraduate degree in English literature or a related field (M.A./M.Sc. English), with a minimum of three years' experience as a PGT English Teacher in a school. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is required for teaching positions, and a TET/CTET certification is preferred.
