Job Overview
Delhi Public School invites applications for the post of PGT History Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As a History Teacher at our school, you will be responsible for teaching History to students from Class 6 to Class 12. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the development of our school's History curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver History lessons to students from Class 6 to Class 12
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement the History curriculum
- Maintain a well-organized and well-researched classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events
- Provide support to students outside of class hours as needed
- Stay updated with the latest developments in History education
- Contribute to the development of our school's History program
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (MA or M.Sc.) in History or a related subject
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed. degree required for teaching positions
- TET or CTET preferred, but not mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Rs.45,000 - Rs.55,000 per month
