Role Summary
Delhi Public School, Bhopal invites applications for the position of TGT Music Teacher. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for Classes VI to VIII.
Prepare students for school concerts, competitions, and inter-school events.
Assess student progress through practical and theoretical evaluations.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music with school festivals.
Maintain discipline and decorum during music classes and rehearsals.
Use digital tools to enhance learning and create interactive sessions.
Organize annual day performances and ensure smooth execution.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Music (Vocal/Instrumental) from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with music specialization.
Valid teaching experience certificate.
Good to Have
CTET/TET qualified candidates will be preferred.
Experience in Western and Indian classical music.
Familiarity with music theory, notation, and instrument handling.
Preferred Skills
Strong vocal or instrumental skills with proficiency in at least two instruments.
Ability to conduct group singing and choral sessions.
Creativity in lesson planning and student engagement.
Fluency in Hindi and English for effective communication.
