Day-to-Day Duties
As a senior TGT Sanskrit Teacher at Red Rose School, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the Sanskrit curriculum for classes IX to XII.
- Mentoring junior staff members to enhance their teaching skills and subject knowledge.
- Analyzing board results to identify areas of improvement and implementing strategies for better performance.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure interdisciplinary learning and holistic development of students.
- Conducting regular staff meetings to discuss departmental progress and challenges.
- Collaborating with the Principal to implement school-wide initiatives and policies.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and departmental activities.
- Participating in school events and functions to promote Sanskrit language and culture.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Sanskrit language and literature.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you should have:
- A graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Sanskrit.
- NET or SET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Sanskrit language, literature, and grammar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and lead a department.
