Smart boards will be used for map exercises, timeline creation, and discussion of current events. Blended learning approaches will encourage students to research topics online and present findings in class.
Key Responsibilities
Create lesson plans aligned with CBSE Social Science curriculum for classes 6 to 8. Design interactive smart board presentations for history, geography, and civics topics. Upload weekly assignments and study materials on Google Classroom and the LMS. Conduct online quizzes and polls to assess understanding of Social Science concepts. Organize virtual field trips using Google Earth and curated YouTube documentaries. Prepare students for debates and group discussions on social issues. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology in Social Science teaching. Maintain digital records of attendance, marks, and student progress.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science) with minimum 50% marks. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution. Three years of teaching experience in Social Science for middle school students.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with smart board operations and educational software. Ability to create digital content for Social Science lessons. Experience using Google Classroom, LMS, and online assessment tools. Comfortable guiding students in safe internet research and digital projects.
What You Get
