Job Description
Environmental Studies (Evs) Teacher Position at Rani Laxmibai Public School, Datia
We seek a dedicated Environmental Studies (Evs) teacher to join Rani Laxmibai Public School in Datia, where students learn about sustainability and ecological awareness through hands-on learning. This role focuses on shaping young minds with a strong foundation in environmental science, conservation, and responsible citizenship. The teacher will design engaging lessons that connect theory with real-world applications, ensuring students grasp key concepts effectively.
Lesson planning is central to this position. You will create structured, interactive sessions that align with the school’s educational goals while incorporating local and global environmental issues. Your plans should balance classroom instruction with practical activities, such as field trips or community projects, to reinforce learning outcomes. Curriculum alignment ensures every lesson ties back to broader objectives, fostering a well-rounded understanding of environmental stewardship.
Assessment design will be a key responsibility. You will develop fair and meaningful evaluation methods—quizzes, projects, discussions, and observations—to gauge student progress. Regular feedback will help students reflect on their understanding and apply knowledge in new ways. Tracking individual and group progress will allow you to adjust teaching strategies, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
This is a full-time role offering a monthly salary of Rs.16,000 to Rs.35,000, depending on qualifications and experience. A graduate degree is required, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred for teaching roles. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. You will work in a supportive, collaborative environment where creativity, patience, and a passion for environmental education are highly valued. This opportunity is ideal for someone who believes in nurturing the next generation of eco-conscious leaders.
