PGT Sociology Teacher Position at Rani Laxmibai Public School, Datia
Teach Sociology at Rani Laxmibai Public School in Datia, where students engage with social structures, cultural diversity, and contemporary issues. Ensure compliance with school policies on academic integrity and student welfare.
Engage with parents and guardians through regular meetings or workshops to discuss Sociology-related topics and their relevance to students’ lives. Foster a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to question, analyze, and apply sociological theories. Assist in organizing school events, such as debates or guest lectures, that promote sociological awareness among students.
Hold administrative responsibilities, including maintaining student records, updating attendance, and coordinating with other teachers to ensure smooth academic operations. Act as a point of contact for students seeking clarification on Sociology concepts or guidance on related career paths. Ensure all teaching materials and assessments are up-to-date and meet the school’s quality standards.
Qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Sociology or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory. Experience teaching Sociology for at least two years is required, preferably in a similar academic setting. While TET/CTET certificates are not mandatory, having them would be an advantage.
