How You Will Teach
You will plan English lessons using smart boards to display phonics videos, grammar puzzles, and vocabulary games that make abstract rules visible. Google Classroom will be your daily hub for sharing worksheets, audio recordings of poems, and speaking assignments. Our LMS hosts self-paced modules on tenses and comprehension so students can revise at home. Blended learning means some classes are face-to-face, others online, so you’ll switch between modes smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver English lessons for classes I to V using smart boards, Google Classroom, and the school LMS.
Create digital worksheets and quizzes in Google Forms to track reading and writing progress weekly.
Record short pronunciation videos and upload them on the LMS so students can practice at home.
Conduct monthly blended sessions where half the class learns in the lab and half stays in the classroom, then swap.
Monitor reading logs maintained by students in Google Sheets and give feedback within 48 hours.
Organize virtual story-telling circles via Google Meet for students who miss school due to local events.
Collaborate with the IT coordinator to troubleshoot basic LMS issues for parents and teachers.
Attend quarterly training on new digital tools and share takeaways with the English team.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in English or related discipline from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from NCTE-recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of English teaching experience in primary classes.
TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but preferred.
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
Preferred Skills
Digital literacy—comfort with smart boards, Google Workspace, and basic troubleshooting.
Experience using LMS platforms like Moodle, Google Classroom, or similar.
Ability to create simple audio-visual content for language drills.
Familiarity with online quiz tools and digital attendance registers.
Willingness to learn new ed-tech tools as they are introduced.
