Role Summary

Pedagogy and Tools
The TGT Gujarati Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, using a variety of pedagogical tools such as Gujarati language learning software, audio-visual aids, and interactive whiteboards to create an immersive learning experience for students. The teacher will also use traditional Gujarati teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning needs.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans for Gujarati language and literature classes.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Assist in the development of Gujarati language and literature curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as Gujarati language clubs and literary events.
Required Qualifications
The TGT Gujarati Teacher should possess a post-graduate degree in Gujarati or a related field, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. A valid TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
