The TGT Music Teacher Vacancy in Dewas is for a full-time post-graduate teacher with three years of experience in school-level music instruction. Key Responsibilities
1. Teach vocal and instrumental music to students in grades VI to VIII.
2. Plan weekly lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
3. Organize practice sessions for school choir and orchestra.
4. Prepare students for state-level and national music competitions.
5. Conduct periodic assessments of student progress in music.
6. Maintain classroom discipline and safety during music sessions.
7. Collaborate with art and dance teachers for cultural programs.
8. Provide guidance on instrument maintenance and storage.
9. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Post-graduate degree in Music with B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school.
- Knowledge of Hindustani and Western music traditions.
- Ability to play at least one instrument (tabla, harmonium, guitar).
- Teaching experience in classes VI to VIII.
Good to Have
- CTET or TET certification.
- Experience in preparing students for competitions.
- Familiarity with digital music tools and software.
- Participation in music workshops or seminars.
- Experience in choreographing school performances.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Patience and creativity in teaching young learners.
- Ability to motivate students to participate in music activities.
- Basic understanding of music theory and notation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during events.
