PGT Mathematics Teacher Job in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
Teaching classes from Class IX to XII at Central Academy School, you will spend most of the day delivering concept‑clear lessons, guiding problem‑solving sessions and marking assessments. Interaction with students during breaks and after‑school tutoring is common. You will also collaborate with senior faculty to align the mathematics curriculum with state board standards.
What you will actually do
- Prepare and deliver daily lesson plans for Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus.
- Conduct regular quizzes, unit tests and board exam mock papers.
- Use digital tools and board work to illustrate complex concepts.
- Provide one‑on‑one support for students struggling with foundational topics.
- Organize math clubs or Olympiad preparation sessions.
- Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum review.
- Maintain accurate attendance and grade records in the school’s system.
- Contribute to parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
Who can do this job
A post‑graduate degree in Mathematics (M.Sc or M.A.) with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Minimum three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. TET/CTET qualification is preferred.
