Job Description
PRT Dance Teacher Job in Gwalior at Delhi Public World School requires a passionate individual to inspire students with the art of dance. This full-time role focuses on nurturing creativity and discipline through structured dance programs, blending cultural heritage with modern techniques.
You will design and deliver engaging dance classes, covering classical, folk, and contemporary styles tailored to students’ age groups. Daily lesson planning, including syllabus alignment with school curriculum standards, is essential. Assess student progress through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Teach fundamental dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with the school’s arts department to organize inter-house dance competitions and cultural events. Ensure all classroom activities comply with school policies and safety guidelines.
Engage with parents through regular updates on student achievements and dance milestones. Maintain organized records of attendance, grades, and student participation. Attend staff meetings and workshops to stay updated on dance pedagogy and teaching methods.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance or related field with at least two years of teaching experience. A Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is mandatory. Experience in dance education, preferably in schools, is highly valued. Salary for this position is Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, with Gwalior as the location.
