Who You Will Teach
You will teach music to students from classes 1 to 5 in Neoteric World School. Your classroom will include children with varied musical exposure and interest levels. Some may be beginners while others show early talent.
What You Will Do
Plan weekly music lessons aligned with school themes and festivals. Introduce ragas, folk tunes, and simple instruments to build foundational skills. Organize small group practice sessions during activity periods.
Prepare students for school assemblies and annual day performances. Ensure every child participates and gains confidence. Rehearse choir groups and prepare solos for confident singers.
Arrange for guest musicians to visit once a term and share live performances. Organize simple instrument-making workshops using local materials. Display student work through classroom boards and school newsletters.
Conduct informal assessments through listening and performance. Keep a simple record of progress for each student. Share feedback with parents during PTMs.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not compulsory. Fluency in Hindi and basic English is necessary for classroom communication.
