PGT Computer Science Teacher
Role Summary
The position is a full‑time PGT Computer Science Teacher role at Shri Ram Centennial School | Indore, located in Sanwer, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering the Computer Science curriculum to senior secondary classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons as per the NCERT guidelines and school timetable.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab, ensuring students gain hands‑on experience with programming, networking and digital literacy.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects and examinations, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school PGT Computer Science Opening events and parent‑teacher interactions.
- Contribute to the development of co‑curricular activities such as coding clubs and inter‑school tech competitions.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Computer Science or related discipline.
- TET/CTET qualification is preferred.
- Post‑graduate degree in Computer Science or related field is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Computer Science at the PGT level in a school setting.
- Prior experience handling senior secondary classes and conducting laboratory work is essential.
Salary
Rs.40,000 - Rs.50,000 per month.
Location
Sanwer, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The school campus is situated in a residential area of Indore with easy access to public transport.
