What will I actually do?

Assessment duties include preparing quizzes, exams, and providing constructive feedback. You will also guide students in projects, debates, and model‑United Nations sessions that relate economics to current affairs. Participation in school committees and parent‑teacher meetings is expected, ensuring a collaborative learning environment.
What do I need to qualify?
A master’s degree in Economics or a related field is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for teaching roles; TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must possess a strong command of economic theory and its practical implications in India.
What experience is expected?
A minimum of four years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is required. Demonstrated ability to use technology in the classroom, such as interactive whiteboards and educational apps, will be an advantage. Experience in coaching students for competitive exams like UPSC or state board exams is highly valued.
What does it pay?
The salary range for this position is Rs.40,000 – Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include health insurance and professional development support.
