The PGT Political Science Teacher will design lesson plans incorporating regional perspectives relevant to Madhya Pradesh, including state-level politics, constitutional frameworks, and electoral processes. Classroom interactions must balance theoretical knowledge with practical applications, such as mock parliament sessions or role-playing exercises on governance models. Collaboration with the school’s curriculum team ensures alignment with CBSE syllabus while introducing innovative teaching methods like digital tools for political analysis.
Assessment tasks will include project-based evaluations like research papers on landmark political events, comparative analyses of political systems, or community-based projects on local governance. The teacher must also mentor students in political awareness programs, organizing workshops or guest lectures by local policymakers or academics. Applicants must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Political Science or a related discipline. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in Political Science or a similar subject, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
