What You Will Do
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Biology lessons for classes 11 and 12 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
2. Conduct practical sessions and lab demonstrations to enhance student understanding of biological concepts.
3. Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams like NEET through structured teaching and revision.
4. Assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, and practical evaluations.
5. Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and student progress reports.
6. Organize and participate in school events such as science exhibitions, seminars, and inter-house competitions.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and teaching aids that support Biology education.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Biology (Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed degree is mandatory. Candidates with TET or CTET certification will be given preference. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school is required. Familiarity with CBSE guidelines and modern teaching methodologies is essential.
