Your Students
You will be teaching students from grades 9 to 12, with varying learning levels and abilities. Your inclusive classroom will cater to students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities, ensuring that every learner feels valued and supported. As a History teacher in Jabalpur, you will be equipped to adapt your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of your students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Design and deliver lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help, including students with special needs.
- Develop and implement inclusive pedagogy that promotes critical thinking, analytical skills, and historical empathy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects that integrate History with other subjects.
- Use technology to enhance the learning experience, including online resources, multimedia presentations, and digital tools.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote cultural awareness, diversity, and inclusion.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in History education.
Required Qualifications
- A post-graduate degree in History or a related field from a recognized university.
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required for teaching positions at Delhi Public School, Jabalpur.
- A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in History, preferably in a school setting.
