About This Role
Delhi Public School, Jabalpur invites applications for a full-time PGT Physical Education Teacher Vacancy in Jabalpur. The role involves teaching physical education to senior secondary students while organizing inter-house and inter-school sports events. Experience in coaching cricket, football, and athletics at school level is preferred.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum.
Organize weekly sports activities and annual sports day for students of classes 9 to 12.
Maintain safety protocols during games and fitness drills.
Conduct fitness assessments and maintain student health records.
Collaborate with house captains to encourage team participation.
Assist in selection of school teams for district and state-level tournaments.
Coordinate with ground staff for equipment and ground maintenance.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in sports.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Post-graduate degree in Physical Education or M.P.Ed with B.Ed.
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in senior secondary schools.
Familiarity with CBSE sports curriculum and assessment methods.
Good to Have
TET or CTET qualification.
Experience in organizing inter-school sports competitions.
Knowledge of yoga and fitness training for adolescents.
