Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced TGT Chemistry Teacher to join our team at Delhi Public School, Jabalpur. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students from Class 6 to Class 10. Your primary focus will be on creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that encourages students to explore the fascinating world of Chemistry.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver high-quality lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate complex chemical concepts and principles.
- Create engaging and interactive resources, such as worksheets, quizzes, and presentations, to support student learning.
- Assess student progress and understanding through various evaluation methods, including quizzes, tests, and projects.
- Provide individualized attention and support to students who require extra help or guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and chemical knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
